Green & Burgundy Amaryllis Bulbs for Sale | Papilio (Butterfly)

Named after one of our favorite pollinators, Amaryllis Papilio Butterfly yields flowers that look like they might take flight at any moment. Soft green orchid-like blossoms accented by velvety burgundy stripes and hints of lime green make a sensational statement wherever they're grown. The most popular of the exotic Amaryllis, Papilio Butterfly is perfect as a houseplant, growing larger with each passing season as smaller side bulbs emerge. Not to mention, each strong stem produces numerous gigantic flowers. Add this winged wonder to your display today!

Note: Amaryllis Papilio Butterfly is easy to grow but never in a hurry, sometimes not blooming for six months, even after the first pops of foliage appear. However, its exquisite beauty is well worth the wait!

Love this Flower!

Got this bulb as a Christmas gift from my daughter. I didn't think I was going to like it. But when it did bloom I was (am) SO impressed with its beauty! Also, information printed on the label said it would take a long time for this one to bloom. Mine didn' took the normal (average) time to bloom after I planted it. Am enjoying watching all of my Amaryllis bloom...adds such a pleasant, bright spot to the otherwise Winter blahs.

Beautiful healthy bulb!

Beautiful healthy bulb. Would give more stars if I could. Shipping was quick and great care was taken to ensure bulb was safe and kept warm as I live in Northwestern Wisconsin.

Got a beautiful flower bloom about 30 days after planting it.

The bulb is growing really well.

The bulb is growing really well and the plant looks healthy. No flower stalk yet but it is well worth waiting for this variety to bloom.

Large Bulb the size of my fist which bloomed FAST!

I chose to grow mine inside and in a flower pot. It bloomed within a couple of weeks. VERY beautiful! I've had people say it's so exotic looking... I would highly recommend! Little pricey, but you get what you pay for...

This bulb is in great shape to not come from a private grower! I would gift this this bulb easily!

Decent size bulb, arrived in great shape, I like the quality so much that I ordered two more!! I can't wait to see this beauty bloom! Those that say they are small, they are not. Those that say they can't get them to grow, I say “operator error”.

Exquisite Amaryllis

Papilio has been on our wish list for some time. The Easy to Grow Bulb Co. made it very uncomplicated to find our Papilio and also view quite a few varieties of bulbs: many heirloom, varied, and difficult to find. Since we own a new "deer visiting" property we were unsure what bulbs would be best. The Papilio did quite well in a pot with proper drainage and soil mixture. I was used to growing amaryllis outside at the base of trees for over 3 decades, now in pots because of deer. This Papilio bloomed beautifully its 1st year!

Beautiful blooms. House decoration.

These flowers look like a piece of art. God took a brush and painted each petal. They are breathtaking and worth the wait. Too bad the flowers didnt last very long.
