Arum Italicum Bulbs for Sale | Italian Lords and Ladies

Similar to Jack in the Pulpit, Arum Italicum is widely grown for its unusual, hooded spring flowers. However, this native of Europe really makes a statement in the fall garden when the spent stalks bear dense clusters of orange-red berries that last for several months.

The chartreuse blooms and bountiful fruits are fascinating additions to shaded spaces, where Hostas and Astilbes make fabulous partner plants. Attractive, arrow-shaped foliage emerges in the fall and persists through winter, occasionally flaunting generous, silvery-white mottling. As spring arrives, the leaves pair beautifully with early bloomers like Crocus, Chionodoxa, and Scilla. Enjoy!

Performs well, too well in NC.

Spreads very quickly and is difficult to remove. In zone 7, this is an invasive plant.

Love these

I gave these plants a try and was extremely pleased. I hope they continue to thrive and take over the area I planted them.

Warning!!

Be careful where you plant. They spread a lot, 30 feet from where originally planted..
