Peony Big Ben

Exhibiting the classic bomb form, Big Ben produces blossoms with full, domed tops framed by a ring of larger, horizontal petals. This peony's flowers are a deep fuchsia, without the slightest tinge of orange, making them ideal for mixing with blues and pinks. Because this variety blooms earlier than most, it's a good choice for gardeners who live in zone 8, the warmest region where peonies are successful, and it's one of the few deep pinks that perform well in these areas. And early bloomer and scented, too, which is rare in this color. Deer resistant.
