This member of the lily family produces clusters of scented white flowers with snappy black eyes in spring. Compact bloom spikes are 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall and studded with fragrant blossoms that provide substance and perfume to early season bouquets. Beautiful in the garden or arranged with freesia, ranunculus, anemones, Dutch iris and even early flowering roses. A Mediterranean native that takes readily to warm weather garden conditions and asks for no special treatment.
