The classic snowdrop, loved by generations and mentioned in poems and children's stories, this simple, sweet flower is one of the first garden reminders that spring is almost here. Native to the Pyrenees and the Ukraine, common snowdrops have a single green V marking on the inner segment of the blossom. The foliage is narrow and linear, like wide blades of grass. Nivalis are excellent plants for light woodlands or under deciduous shrubs. They spread gently and can easily be lifted and divided to share or create new patches. Deer resistant.
