Developed as part of the Karma Dahlia series by the Verwer brothers, breeders since the mid 60s, Sangria embodies the best of this group. The Karmas were designed to be extra healthy, with a long blooming period, with straight stems and a vase life of 8-10 days. Sangria scores high on all accounts and is a top notch performer across the country. This spiky cactus dahlia grows three feet tall and blooms from late summer into mid fall. Insider secret - pinch off growing tips on stems with 3 sets of leaves to encourage bushiness and greater flower production.
