Description

Anemone Bare Root Plants for Sale | Tomentosa Robustissima

Don't be fooled by Tomentosa Robustissima! This variety may appear dainty and delicate, but it's actually the easiest to grow and hardiest of all fall-blooming Anemones. Characterized by single, soft pink, 5-petal, cup-shaped blossoms with fluffy yellow seedheads, this beautiful bloomer is well suited for borders and as a tall ground cover. The charming flowers are held upright on 36 to 48" tall, graceful stems above mounds of divided, grape-like, dark green foliage. With a vigorous spreading habit and reliable late-summer display, this Anemone is an absolute must-have. Plus, it's unbothered by deer and rabbits, attractive to butterflies, and perfect for cutting!

healthy & growing

Watered the roots in their opened bags of soil and ket them on a partly sunny windowsill until the weekend when I had time to plant. All are now coming up beautifully in my shade garden, even the couple of broken roots I planted off to one side because why not

Should Be A Go...

The bare root of this plant was instantly put in the ground. It is now flourishing by putting on its anemone foliage. Looking forward to an accurate bloom match.
