Freesia Double Pink Bulbs For Sale Online | Fragrant

Romantic double pink freesia, with their dreamy scent and softly tiered blooms, will make you fall in love with gardening all over again. The double bright pink fragrant flowers dance atop sturdy, arching bright green stems.

Freesias make excellent cut flowers and do well outside when planted in the fall in zones 9 and above. Grow in containers planted in the spring in cooler areas. (Their spectacular scent and fragrance is worth the effort!)

Plants will grow 18 to 24 inches and perform best in full sun to light shade in well drained soil. Very low maintenance with high reward!

Fragrance, beauty...

Freesias must be one of my very favorite flowers. They're so perfect in form, with head-swooning perfume -- and are so easy to grow! In our SoCal climate, they return each year and even tend to multiply, assuming some small critter doesn't eat the corms first. I love the color variations that exist... pinks can range from solid fuschia to pastel pink to even a picotee type effect! The only downside is the eyesore of dying leaves that must be left to gather energy for the corms for next year... Given the inexpensiveness of the corms, I may experiment with simply removing the leaves as soon as the bloom is over and replanting each fall. Overall, a must-have in any romantic, fragrant, cutting flower garden!
