Very nice bulbs
Love the flowers on this beauty, the colors are fantastic, like the last 2 pictures above, and the flowers are 7 inches wide so there not small like I originally thought.
Four flowers on the first stem, waiting for the second one.
I ordered another one today.
I love the smaller flowered amaryllis and Bogota is my new favorite--absolutely beautiful! The photo here doesn't quite do it justice. Very long lasting flowers that turn a lovely magenta as they fade. Two sturdy stems and buds on my bulb: one opened two weeks before the second. Loved the mix of colors on the fresh, rich red flowers with the fading, light magenta blooms!
perfect! forced for my wedding. had blooms in 4 weeks
Bloomed beautifully within 4 weeks. The flowers are so exotic looking! I read that cybister hybrids (the ones with thin petals and exotic looks like this one) are less dependable than traditional amaryllis, but will test it out next year, after the growth and then dormancy seasons. The price was excellent for the size of the bulb - smaller bulbs sell on Ebay for much more.
Got it planted about a month ago in pot on back porch and it is sprouting new growth. Looking for flower stem soon.
