Description

You will undoubtedly feel the luck when you grow this uniquely sensational Alstroemeria! Lavish, exotic foliage in emerald green creates a generous mound where 8-12" stems are topped with creamy, white flowers. The tropical-looking blooms exhibit pink throats, dark speckles, and remarkable brushed-green tips.

This mound-forming, tuberous perennial is perfect for borders, small gardens and is excellent in containers! Grow her in a partial sunny spot with fertile, evenly moist, well-draining soil and you won't be sorry you did! Be careful, dry soil induces dormancy and reduces flowering vigor. Deadhead spent flowers as needed or bring flowers inside to take advantage of their long vase life as cut flowers. In early Spring, trim back or gently pull out old tuberous stems to encourage new growth and better flowering.

Are you lucky enough to have A/C? Do you keep your home temperate year-round? These compact Alstroemeria may be the most spectacular houseplant for you! As long as nobody has allergies to pollen of course.

Alstroemeria are true Goldilocks plants, they don't like it too hot nor too cold. They are native to the Andes mountain region of South America, where it stays cool/temperate year-round. Ideal temperatures are 50-65 F but they can withstand intermittent hot days up to 75 F with afternoon shade and a little TLC. Frost will kill unprotected leaves and roots.

Still Blooming in January!

It's January 4 and it's still blooming! I have about six other varieties of alstroemeria and they all have nice healthy foliage right now but no flowers. But all three of my Lucky's have flowers still!

I was very impressed by the careful packing job when I received the little plants. All of them have been happily transplanted and they are starting to flower. I love how unique these alstroemeria are!

Thank you so much for your positive comments on our packaging -- we love these little babies as much as you do, and want them to be safe on their travels! Thank you for including photos, as well. We hope you enjoy these exotic 'Inca Lucky' Alstroemerias!

Lovely Lucky

How could I not order a plant named: Lucky? It is truly a beautiful Alstroemeria and it goes so well with the beautiful white Clair Alstroemeria plant that I also ordered from you. I have been very pleased with your products, service and customer service. Thank you.

Alstroemeria

I ordered 6 alstroemeria. They arrived quickly but in the three days of shipping many of the leaves had turned yellow and more importantly several of the stems were broken. I was told to repot them and that's when I discovered they were quite root bound. They have recovered and it is warm enough now to put them in the ground. The plants are small and I do see a few buds so my hope is that they will flourish once they are in the ground this summer.
