Producing 6 curvy, petal-like segments, their lily-like blooms come in bright mixes of dark red, bright pink, orange, yellow and striped pink. The flowers of fire lilies are long lasting and highly prized by florists, because of their beauty and extended life when used as a cut flower.

The twining vine, which grows to 6 feet, sends out tendrils that attach the climbing stems to fences, structures and other plants with lance-like leaves attached to fast growing stems that bloom intermittently during the summer and fall season.
