Description

Red Spider Lily Bulbs For Sale | Lycoris Red - Radiata

Red Spider Lilies - sometimes called Magic Lilies - burst from the soil with an explosion of color in late summer. These beauties produce impressive 2 foot tall flower stems followed later by long, strap-like leaves.

Beautiful when paired with broad leaved hostas varieties that can take full sun. Outstanding in showy cut flower bouquets that easily last over a week in water. These deer resistant plants require little care and last a lifetime.

    Spider Lily

I’m in south Louisiana, Cajun Country, & we call these Spider Lilies. They come up in the wild! When we find them, we dig them up & add them to our flower beds & they come up every year! Lots of times, some will sprout & bloom in the middle of the yard before the first mowing of the lawn! Love these!

I just learned that this plant is part of the Amaryllis family. I just planted it yesterday. I can't wait for it to grow.

    Nice bulbs!

Healthy looking bulbs. I only hope these make it. I have been battling chipmunks and squirrels this year and my bulbs took a hard hit this year. They seem to be leaving these ones alone, mostly.

Dried out, wilted (pic to share) Do not expect it to do anything planted in sandy place near patio to keep a lose eye 9n it. Understand why $4. Will spend my money elsewhere, like Gilbert HWild or Hirts gardens. They send healthy product.

Planted as directed. Not one of these ever came up. How long does it usually take for these to come up? I've never planted so many of these "spider lily"s and nothing happened! I'm still waiting, tho. 🤷‍♀️

The bulb came in dead. I am going to keep looking after it but it seemed quite dead on arrival with its leaves already brown and dry.
