Description

Perennial Geranium Bare Root Plants for Sale | Kashmir Purple

Like butterflies bedazzling clumps of finely-cut foliage, Kashmir Purple has rightfully earned a built-in edge with gardens across the country and is especially popular in Europe. This perennial plant spreads rapidly but not aggressively to gracefully fill in bare spaces between other plants. Not to mention, the richly-hued blossoms are about 20% larger than is typical for this clan!

A powerhouse with pizzazz, Kashmir Purple delivers a profusion of heavily veined, deep purple flowers with a shimmer of blue or mauve in early summer. Oh, and that's not all - more modest color continues right through to the first frost! This regal beauty is cherished for its ornamental foliage and landscaping versatility. Enjoy!

So-so

My first root planting project with another supplier last year was an 85 percent failure. Mostly my fault. Waited too long to plant and overwatered. Second project also a failure, two thirds did not result in life. Third project with this company was a marginal success. About 50 percent of roots grew vigorously. I planted these roots the day they arrived. Some of this shipment had dried roots. Even presoaking was not sufficient. So now i believe i know how to manage roots. I’m trying again, but my best expectations are a success rate of, hopefully, 75 percent will result. Root planting requires a fairly high degree of skill. Disappointment will result if you aren’t very prepared and attentive.
