Good fortune was in our court this year when we were able to locate a flower farmer in India that had a small quantity of Oxalis Fanny, a hard to find cultivar in this popular family of easy care summer bloomers. Fanny displays the classic pinwheel leaves of this group, and sports an unusual triangular silver shadow pattern on the foliage, making the plants attractive even when they aren't in flower. (Leaf pattern isn't very visible in this photo.) Flowers are a clear pink, atop slender stems that sway in the lightest breeze. This plant is an excellent partner in large mixed containers.
