These guys bloomed just as my freesia was dying in the spring in the desert...zone 9! I got these as a gift and I just popped them in the ground after refrigerating them for about six weeks in the fall. They grew great and was a surprising pop of color! They came up in March/April after being planted in October I believe. They did great as a cut flower as the blooms keep coming! I liked to cut them with a couple blooms opened and they would continue to bloom after for about a week! I ordered a couple more varities as they were a great transition flower from spring flowers to summer flowers!
