Beautiful apricot

I chilled the bulbs for over 2 months. Planted them in early January. They start blooming in late February. Nice shape with thin and glowing petals.

Gorgeous Color; Good Tulip for Warm Climate Gardens

I adore tulips, but live in hot, sunny southern California where they don't typically thrive. I've planted many varieties that don't even come up here. Apricot Beauty is an exception. It blooms early in my area -- from the very beginning of March through almost mid April. The color is gorgeous, and the fragrance when you have a bunch planted is beyond heavenly -- people walking down the street peek in and ask what smells so good. My garden is never so beautiful as when the tulips are blooming; I'm so glad I found this exceptional variety! Tulips are a little more work in my hot climate since I do pre-chill them, but well worth it!
