Italian Ranunculus Elegance Bulbs For Sale | Festival Mix

Ranunculus flowers not only bring ample color and joy to gardens, but they're also a favorite of florists with their long stems and exceptional vase life. Grown from tubers, each plant blooms profusely, so you can cut enough for a spectacular arrangement without jeopardizing your outdoor display.

This lively variety features plants with a green center corolla, which unfolds dramatically as the flower matures. Not to mention, the densely petaled, large blooms of this Festival Mix appear in stunning warm shades of pink, red, and orange. Add this peculiar performer to your summer garden.

Second Year

Update: I've had my second year of these blooms and they are coming through very well. What I do is to pull up all of the bulbs after the foliage has died back. I store them in a paper sack (not plastic because that can cause them to have fungus/bacteria--learned that from my plant virologist husband) inside all summer. Then I replant in the fall here in Texas (other places might need to be later). I separated large bulbs. These bulbs ended up producing very well last year and I was able to separate into more bulbs for this second year. Note: we had two very unusual cold spells this year and these bulbs were in pots I took inside so they were fine. However, what I am most amazed about is that my bulbs I left outside are also doing all right. They did die back, but they have come back up and most are even blooming. One that didn't bloom I pulled up and found that it had produced a good-sized bulb, so it should be fine next year.

THESE ARE CRAZY COOL!

I was worried these would be a little too funky for my taste but they turned out pretty dang cool! I got a LOT of red flowers with green centers, a good chunk of orange flowers with green centers, and some really fun yellow/orange ones that looked kind of tiger-striped with green in the center and on the leaves. I did get a small amount of white with green centers and those were super fun to arrange with. I didn't get any hot pink flowers with green centers.
The top part of the flower looks like someone has taken pinking shears to it and it looks super interesting! The stems were some of the LONGEST stems of all my ranunculus and I had some larger flowers and some smaller flowers as the weather got hotter...I think the flowers may have needed more water. Overall I was super happy when these popped up. I grew them in zone 9 in the desert in AZ from October- March. I start them in the fridge to give them their cold spell while our weather cools down. I am excited to see how many of the bulbs come back this year!

Spectacular flowers!

I wasn't sure I was going to like these flowers but they ended up being my favorite ranunculus of the season (and I had planted well over 100 bulbs--some replants from last year and others new from Easy Bulbs this year). They came up well even though I planted them late in the fall here in Texas and they produced flowers for at least 3-4 weeks. These looked really spectacular in floral arrangements. I plan to buy many more next year.

Gorgeous!

Every year I add to my ranunculus collection by ordering from ETGB. This one does not disappoint. I hesitated to spend that much on so few bulbs, but I am so glad I did. I have to order in the spring and plant in the fall so it takes me about a year to have the information needed to write my reviews. I hate that I missed reordering this one this year but hopefully I will get the chance next go round. It’s worth every penny. So beautiful, especially in a flower arrangement.

Most of what I order did not come in.
