MY NEW FAVORITE SCENTED FLOWER!!

This past spring (2020) was my first time growing freesia and I was BLOWN away by the amazing scent of freesia and so was every single person I made arrangements for...they just couldn't get over the smell. It's heavenly! I found out I was allergic to them somehow if they got on my hands so I had to wear gloves so I wouldn't itch but it was 100% worth it. I was seriously so dang sad when they stopped blooming. They were prolific bloomers and the best way to keep them blooming the longest is to cut once one of the flowers has opened but the others are still in bud stage. If you cut at this stage they will bloom for the week. You can also pull off spent blooms. I paired these with ranunculus and fresh mint for a super fragrant bouquet! Or you could do a bouquet of just freesia! They hold up well! I bought more and can't wait to see how this years bulbs do!
