Fritillaria Bucharica

Fritillaria Bucharica | Russian Fritillaria | Fritillaria Bucharica Romit We are delighted to offer some very hard to find varieties, and this one is special! Like all fritillaria, Bucharica is an excellent deterrent to deer and rodents, protecting more tasty bulbs nearby, and not just itself. But there is no off-putting odor to deter your enjoyment! Clusters of nodding blooms are snowy white, with vivid green eyes, and a collar of leaves that flair back away from the flower framing it with drama. Best in full sun, but protect it from excessive water during its summer dormancy. Can be grown well in containers that can be covered during the summer.
