Dutch Iris Apollo

In the classic butter and sugar color combination of rich yellow and pure white Apollo reigns in the spring garden. This flower was named after the Greek god of the sun and light - it's not hard to see why. These are elegant additions to beds and bouquets alike. Excellent mixed with other yellows and golds or with purples and blues. These photos were taken in a Southern CA garden where the plants had settled in happily, obviously. Lightly scented.
