White & Yellow Peruvian Lily Potted Plants For Sale | Alstroemeria Claire

Dwarf Alstroemeria Claire fits her reputation as a Peruvian Lily flawlessly adorned in pure white petals with a faint yellow blush, dark lashes, and lustrous green flora.

She's a heavy flowering deciduous perennial that's wonderful for borders, small gardens or containers. Grow her in a partial sunny spot with fertile, evenly moist, well-draining soil and you won't be sorry you did! Be careful, dry soil induces dormancy and reduces flowering vigor. Deadhead spent flowers as needed or bring flowers inside to take advantage of their long vase life as cut flowers. In early Spring, trim back or gently pull out old tuberous stems to encourage new growth and better flowering.

Are you lucky enough to have A/C? Do you keep your home temperate year-round? These compact Alstroemeria may be the most spectacular houseplant for you! As long as nobody has allergies to pollen of course.

Alstroemeria are true Goldilocks plants, they don't like it too hot nor too cold. They are native to the Andes mountain region of South America, where it stays cool/temperate year-round. Ideal temperatures are 50-65 F but they can withstand intermittent hot days up to 75 F with afternoon shade and a little TLC. Frost will kill unprotected leaves and roots.

Finally Blooming!

I received these little guys back in mid-April, along with two other varieties of Alstroemeria. I immediately transferred the plants to my garden. The other two varieties started blooming a couple weeks ago but the colorita claires were healthy but holding out as far as blooming. But finally my first flower opened! Pretty little guys!

Thanks for your review. We are glad the sweet Colorita Claires are blooming for you! Happy Growing!

Beautiful Crisp White Alstroemeria

I ordered my two ‘Claire’ Alstroemerias on May 19 and received them on May 26. I planted each 4” pot into a 10” diameter container and on July 9, just over 6 weeks later, the first bloom opened! It is a crisp white flower as shown in the second photo and there are numerous buds ready to open. One plant is a 9” mound and the other is an 8” mound. I will soon need to transplant these healthy plants into larger containers! I’m extremely pleased with my first order from Easy to Grow Bulbs. I also wrote the review “ Excellent Timeliness and Communication”. Since my first order, I have ordered more!

Excellent Timeliness and Communication

Claire alstroemeria was recommended by a friend as a relatively white colored alstroemeria with a long vase life. This is my very first order with Easy to Grow Bulbs. I appreciate receiving email notification of when the order was received and another email with USPS tracking information. Therefore, I knew when to expect the delivery. I promptly received my order after 8 days, including the weekend. This is particularly impressive as I ordered this during the pandemic “Stay at Home” period of time. The tuberous roots looked healthy. After only 17 days, there are at least 7 new shoots. I look forward to seeing its first blooms!

One of my favorite plants. All of the products that I have received have been in top knot has condition. I can not wait include this in my floral arrangements.
