Shipping Charges (Doorstep Delivery)
Our bigger, better bulbs come from specialty flower bulb farmers all over the world. We pay all ocean and air freight, inspection charges and customs fees. You pay only for delivery to your doorstep.
Orders are shipped via FedEx or the US Postal Service depending on package size and weight. Our goal is to keep shipping fees and transit times as reasonable as possible without sacrificing service.
If you have a carrier preference, please let us know in the "Special Shipping Instructions" box during checkout. Please note that the quoted times of delivery shown below are estimated days in transit from the time we ship your order until it is delivered to your doorstep. For items that are in stock and appropriate to ship immediately, those orders typically ship from our facility within 1-2 business days. For your convenience, we will send tracking information as soon as your order ships.
If you'd like your package delivered to a neighbor or to a work address, we'll happily oblige. Just provide that shipping address while placing your order.

Change of Shipping Address:
When fulfilling an order, we assume that all information entered is complete and accurate. Sometimes mistakes happen; if you need to update the shipping address please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order for the best chance at catching it before it leaves our shipping facility. We are more than willing to do everything in our power to ensure your new garden additions make it to their correct destination. If we are unable to correct the address prior to your order leaving our shipping facility, re-ship costs (to the corrected address) are solely the customers’ responsibility.
If, for any reason, your order is returned to us we are willing to waive the restock fee to re-ship your items if you’re willing to cover the additional shipping. Our shipping department sends orders to the address that you provided during checkout. When fulfilling an order, we are assuming that all information on your order, entered during checkout, is complete and accurate. Although we understand that sometimes mistakes happen, re-ship costs are solely the customers’ responsibility.
The following info may also be helpful:
- All transit times noted above are estimates from ship date to delivery and are calculated based on business days.
- Ground transit times vary based on the distance from our shipping site in southern California as well as weather and other un-foreseeable conditions.
- Customers in California, Nevada and Arizona are encouraged to select Ground over Expedited 2-Day Air. Ground transit times are generally 1-2 business days from our warehouse and delivery fees are significantly less.
- Alaska has some agricultural/size/weight restrictions. If there is an issue with your order we'll contact you to discuss.
- Large orders: Have an order over $2,000? Please call for a custom shipping quote or we will contact you after you place your order. We find with larger orders a custom quote will likely save in shipping costs.
Sometimes needs and circumstances change and although we will be sad to see you go, we are willing to oblige and cancel your order (free of charge in most cases). Please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order for the best chance to cancel your order before it leaves our shipping facility (free of charge). If your order is in transit or arrives before you request a cancellation, please refer to our Returns policy below.
Merchandise may be returned for a refund (less shipping & handling) on items returned to our warehouse in resell-able condition within 30 days of receipt. Exceptions are fast sprouters like Paperwhites, Amaryllis, Astiatic Lilies, Oriental Lilies and dormant bare-root perennials; these must be mailed back to us within 7 days of receipt to be in sellable condition. Return shipping costs are the customers’ responsibility. If you are returning goods, please notify us in advance by sending an email to email@example.com.
