Astrantia
Native to mountain meadow lands, woodlands and along stream banks of Europe, Astrantia prefers consistently moist soil and a cool growing environment in partial shade. If grown under acceptable conditions, plants will naturalize by self-seeding and will form colonies of their own; although they are not considered invasive due to their specific growing requirements. Astrantia are perfect for woodland or meadow land gardens that typically have wetter soils and cooler temperatures.
