Easy care Pink Flower Carpet Roses produce masses of blooms - over 3,000 flowers in a season on an established plant. Whether planted singly, as a specimen in your landscape, or in an arresting group, this is a rose that will be noticed. Like others in this carefully bred group, the pink Flower Carpet Rose asks for water, a little fertilizer once or twice a year, and a simple trim once in the early spring. No spraying, fussy pruning, or staking. Look for the short plump buds to begin cherry red then open to iridescent hot pink blooms, tinged with white at the centre and offset by rich yellow stamens. Flowers grow to approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter with 15-20 petals. Blooms develop in clusters 6-8-inches across, with approximately 18 flowers per cluster. Winner of over 10 Gold Metal grower's awards for disease resistance and number of blooms.
