Widely recognized for its vigor and proliferation of velvety purple flower, Jackmanni Superba is an excellent choice for first time clematis growers. Tall enough to cover a pergola, trellis or arbor with a riot of richly hued blooms all summer long, this clematis can also be grown through small fruit trees to add late season color. An improvement on the well known Jackmanii which was first grown in England in 1863. Winter hardy to a bone chilling zone 3. Our clematis plants are well rooted, top pruned for easy transplanting and ready to burst into growth.
