For borders and beds sizzling with color and excitement, Rocket City is a must. Bittersweet orange with a deeper halo of burnt orange, the 7" blooms on this daylily open midseason on scapes (flower stems) about three feet tall. Stunning planted in wide strips along the sunny side of a foundation where these daylilies will grow happily for years, getting thicker and more lush with each passing season. This is a tetraploid hemerocallis, a genetically improved group that tends to have stronger foliage, more scapes and more flowers than the average. Rocket City is an American Hemerocallis Society award winner.
