Asiatics and LA Hybrid Lilies (Longiflorum x Asiatic)
LA Hybrids are genetic crosses between the Asiatic lilies that have been the backbone of May and June gardens for generations, and Longiflorum or trumpet lilies. The Asiatic genes contribute a wide color range and a forgiving disposition, while the Longiflorum blood adds increased vigor and sometimes a trumpet shaped flower.
Blended together, these two bloodlines produce strong plants that are ideally suited to warm weather gardens. They do nicely in cooler regions, too.
Note: Prices below are for 3 big bulbs (mix is 6).
Lily bulbs begin shipping to the warmest parts of the country in late February and continue through May, stock permitting.
