Fancy Leafed Caladiums (Angel Wings)

Grown for their spectacular foliage, rather than for flowers, caladiums originated in hot humid South America. These plants are happiest when planted in warm, shady areas and thrive in sultry environments that make many plants droop.

Caladium foliage grows in a variety of forms, from long and strap-like to heart shaped. Our caladiums are all fancy leafed types, with heart-like leaves in bright shades that provide an extremely long season of color that few flowers can match.

While usually grown outdoors, caladiums perform beautifully in well-lit, warm conservatories, sunrooms and baths where humidity is high for at least part of the day. Consider how a windowsill decorated with Gingerland would move your master bath from ho-hum to exotic!
