When will my order ship?
Orders will be shipped at the right planting time for your growing zone. This means that bulbs will ship at different times to gardeners across the country based on soil and air temperature in their region.
To help you plan schedules, our seasonal shipping schedule is printed on the bottom of your order acknowledgement. When your order leaves our warehouse we'll send you an email letting you know. For FedEx shipments, your email will include a link to track your package so you'll know where it is at any point along the way. Please note, times in transit do not include weekend days.
I need windowsill flowers now - do you ship during the winter months?
Most gardening companies do not ship during January and February because of the cold weather across much of the country. Our customers have told us how much they enjoy having amaryllis, paperwhites and other indoor bulbs to get them through the gray days of winter so we've have developed a packaging system that allows our bulbs to travel safely in all but the most bitter weather.
However, since even the best packaging can't protect live goods in exceptionally cold temperatures or in extended cold we strongly recommend that winter shipments be sent to addresses where the bulbs will be brought indoors and not left outside. Also, during very cold snaps, we may hold orders for a few days until the weather moderates.
Where do you ship?
We ship to all states except Hawaii. Unfortunately, we can not ship to foreign countries.
Can I track my shipment?
When your package leaves our warehouse we'll send an email with your tracking number. That way, you can check if you'd like to know exactly where your shipment is at any point before it arrives on your doorstep.
What are your order turn around times?
In-stock items ship and bill within two working days. Exceptions to this timing are: 1) when customers order early and request that shipments be held, and 2) when weather conditions at the ship-to addresses are not yet seasonally appropriate for successful planting.
Some items are noted as having special shipping windows, due to their specific cultural requirements. These will ship as outlined.
I just found something else on your website that I'd like; can I add it to an existing order?
Yes, you can add to any order that hasn't yet shipped by either calling us and mentioning your prior order or using the Special Instructions field when you check out to note "Please add to prior order." We'll combine your orders, send everything at once and may even save you a little on freight.
