A friend, who is a bit of a purist, has planted a small garden with only white flowers. In the spring, when the air is cool, the foliage new and the fragrant White Pearl in bloom, it is a magical place. You could do something similar if creating a richly scented, calm getaway appeals to you. With other whites - anemones, white daffodils, crocus, amaryllis belladonna, ranunculus, grape hyacinths - the effect is enchanting. Prefer a bit more color in your borders? White Pearl mixes very nicely with pastel or brights.
