Lemon chicken and lemon meringue pie will never be the same once you've used fresh lemons grown in your own yard. This tree produces fragrant white flowers from spring through summer, singly or in clusters along the freely branching boughs. Then classic yellow fruits, 4" to 5" in length, but with a slightly sweeter, less tart taste than those in the grocery store, ripen in the winter. The "improved" Meyer lemon is both more cold and disease resistant than the original, and is an excellent choice for indoor as well as outside culture.

Note: |
Citrus trees ship April through October to cool climates and year round to warm areas. |

Cultivar note: |
Citrus trees frequently fuss when moved, whether that's from outside to in the house, or across the country as when they are shipped to you. Significant leaf drop sometimes occurs, but don't be concerned. Fresh green leaves resprout quickly and the trees recover fully. |
