These two amaryllis cultivars, Dancing Queen and Madrid, make a gorgeous, over-the-top pair. Plant them in the same pot - an oval container works well - or in twin baskets or bowls and then arrange as you like. Expect to hear remarks like "Those aren't real, are they?" Then smile, look modest (if you can manage it) and respond with "Well, yes they are, but you know, I've been gardening for a while." Nobody but you has to know how easy these are to grow fabulously. Bulbs produce two or more flower stalks with four or more blooms on each.
