Most of the amaryllis grown bloom in reds, whites and pinks, but a few shift over to the warm side of the color wheel. Madrid is one of these, with blooms that are light coral color, full and double in form. Lovely with the mahoganies, cinnamons and siennas that are so popular this season. Bulbs produce two or more flower stalks with four or more blooms on each.
