Flowering up to three weeks before other varieties and continuing to bloom for an average of almost two and a half months per season (70 days), Bluestorm provides masses of soft blue in the landscape. Mature plants produce up to 25 stems at once, each topped with thick flower clusters, and bear 80-100 of these over the course of a single season. Bluestorm agapanthus is two and a half feet tall, the perfect height for borders, mixed beds and large containers. Blooms are excellent for cutting and the plants are low maintenance and drought resistant when established. See additional photo in Image Gallery above.
